A New Home for StoneCrest

Without the contribution of women, society is less alive, culture impoverished, and peace less stable.

— St. John Paul II

For over 60 years, Stonecrest has helped women of all ages thrive by providing coaching and programming aimed at personal, spiritual and professional growth. Participants also have access to a network of diverse women who strive for personal excellence. Stonecrest’s programs help women to build fulfilling lives, families and careers.

Now Stonecrest is moving to Virginia!

Our new home base – in Great Falls – puts Stonecrest near many of the women we already serve and our key partner organizations. This new setting gives Stonecrest the right location to continue to build on the success of present programming and expand the depth of formative activities. The new Stonecrest in Virginia will greatly expand our ability to help more women, their families and communities to truly flourish.

In the past 10 years, we have doubled the number of women we are serving in Virginia, even while our headquarters remained in D.C. The move to Northern Virginia helps us to better serve our base and continue reaching many more families.

Being closer to partner organizations such as Oakcrest School in Vienna and Longlea Conference Center in Culpeper will further our synergies, impact and growth. This also puts us closer to the women we currently serve in Richmond, North Carolina and West Virginia.

When women thrive; families grow stronger, communities improve and society prospers. Stonecrest’s impact will be felt for generations.

The new Stonecrest will be simple and attractive. There will be a chapel, living and sitting areas, and a yard for gathering. The center will include living space for 12 professional women who will maintain the center and manage the activities typical of a center of Opus Dei. In short, Stonecrest will be a home – a place of influence and inspiration; offering consistent, robust personal formation and community to the women we serve.
